Érde began from a mother’s search for clothing that felt gentle, breathable, and thoughtfully made for children — pieces that feel as natural and carefree as childhood itself.
Our Story
Érde began from a very personal place — my journey into motherhood.
When my daughter Niva was born, I became far more mindful of the clothes she wore. Like many mothers, I wanted fabrics that felt soft on her skin, breathable, and comfortable enough for her to move freely.
Whenever I travelled abroad, I often brought back clothes for her — pieces that felt beautifully made, timeless, and thoughtfully designed.
But back home in India, I realised how difficult it was to find children’s clothing that offered that same balance of comfort, quality, and design, especially for our warm climate where clothes need to feel light and breathable.
That gap stayed with me.
Over time, a simple thought began to grow ,what if children here could have clothing that feels just as beautiful, but is designed for their everyday comfort?
That thought eventually became Érde ,a conscious kidswear label created with the belief that children deserve clothing that feels gentle, breathable, and thoughtfully made.
Born in India, Érde is deeply shaped by motherhood, by my daughter Niva, and by the wish to create something better for the next generation.
In many ways, Érde continues to grow alongside Niva, constantly reminding me why thoughtful, comfortable clothing for children truly matters.
Our Philosophy
At Érde, we believe children’s clothing should first and foremost feel good to wear.
Children are always moving — running, climbing, and exploring the world around them. Their clothes should support that freedom.
Our pieces are designed to be light, breathable, and comfortable for long days of play.
We produce our garments in small batches using natural fabrics and thoughtfully sourced materials, focusing on quality over quantity.
Our aim is simple — to create clothing that parents feel confident buying and children genuinely enjoy wearing.
